Bales Cottage provides inpatient and outpatient services for teens and young mothers, primarily from Indiana and Kentucky.

  • Females (pregnant and non-pregnant) needing a comprehensive treatment program specializing in Maternity Care, Child Abuse Prevention and Self Sufficiency
  • Females with poor boundaries, peer relationships and promiscuity issues
  • Females who need preparation for independent living

 

THERAPEUTIC SERVICES OFFERED:

Individual and Family Therapy

"Hands On" independent living skills: finding employment, cooking, budgeting, completing laundry and household chores, arranging transportation and childcare, if needed

Educational Component (G.E.D. or local high school)

Drug/Alcohol Assessment and Treatment

Psycho-educational Groups:
  • Anger Management
  • Boundaries
  • Healthy Relationships
  • Stress Management
  • Contraceptives
  • Effective Communication
  • Parenting Training
  • Cooking
  • Single-Parenting
  • Infant CPR

24 hour staffing by trained staff

PROGRAM SPECIFICATIONS:

  • Length of Stay: 3 month - 1 year (client specific)
  • Population Served: 7 females (pregnant and non-pregnant) and 3 Infants/Toddlers
  • Rates: Call for current per diem information
