Mashiur Khan, MD
Psychiatrist

Mashiur Khan, MD began his employment with Childplace in 2014. He is a graduate from the University of Louisville School of Medicine. He completed his general psychiatry residency through the University of Louisville, Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences. He completed his child and adolescent psychiatry fellowship through the University of Louisville, Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Science. He has experience in working with children, adolescents, adults and families. Dr. Khan is also a board certified Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist.

Melissa Wilson, LCSW
Clinical Services Program Supervisor

Melissa began her employment with Childplace in 2012. She received her MSSW through the University of Louisville. She has served in multiple roles within the agency and started her current position in 2015. She has her certification in Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavior Therapy. Melissa has completed the Trust Based Relational Intervention (TBRI) Practitioner training. She has experience in working with children and adolescents who have experienced trauma, experienced foster care and children and adolescents who have been adopted.

Lisa Rusher, LCSW, MAC
Therapist

Lisa began her employment with Childplace in 1998. She received her MSSW through the University of Louisville. Lisa has her certification in Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavior Therapy. She has completed the University of Louisville’s Juvenile Sexual Offender Counselor Certification Program. Lisa also has received the title of Master Addiction Counselor through the National Certification Commission for Addition Professionals.

Kirk Roggenkamp, LCSW
Therapist

Kirk began his employment with Childplace in 2005. He received his MSSW through California State University at Long Beach. He has a MS in Education through the University of Louisville. Kirk has his certification in Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavior Therapy. He has also completed the University of Louisville’s Juvenile Sexual Offender Counselor Certification Program. Kirk has many years of experience working in an outpatient therapy setting.

Susan Robinson, LCSW, LMFT
Therapist

Susan began her employment with Childplace in 2010. She received her M.A. in Clinical Psychology from Indiana University. She obtained her LCSW and LMFT license in 1993. She also has her certification in Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavior Therapy. Susan has extensive previous experience working in private practice and community based services.

Carla Seipel, LMFT
Therapist

Carla began her employment with Childplace in 2012. She received her MS in Education from Purdue University. She received her Certification in Marriage and Family Therapy from the University of Louisville. She also has her certification in Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavior Therapy. Carla has previous experience working in intensive In-Home therapy and spent many years as an elementary aged school teacher.

Clara Kinney, ATR-P
Therapist

Clara began her employment with Childplace in 2017. She obtained her ME.d. in Counseling and Personnel Services with concentration in Art Therapy from the University of Louisville. Clara is a registered art therapist. She is also working on obtaining her Licensed Mental Health Counselor Associate license. Clara has experience in providing counseling services, but also add a unique perspective in adding art into counseling sessions.

Brittani May, LSW, LMFT-A
Therapist

Brittani began her employment with Childplace in 2012. She previously has worked in Childplace Residential Treatment Program as a Treatment Manager and transitioned to the role of therapist in 2017. Brittani obtained her MSSW and MFT from the University of Louisville. She also has completed the University of Louisville’s Juvenile Sexual Offender Counselor Certification Program. Brittani has experience in working with children, adolescents and families.
